Hello my name is…

Kimberley and I am the CEO at We Offer Training.

I am also a registered dyslexic Learning Disability Nurse, and have worked on the NICE ADHD guidance implementation group, I am also an independent clinical expert on CT(E)R panels for NDTi. I am co-leading the development of the National Autism Consultant Nurse Network which will be crucial to the national implementation of the Autism NHS LTP key prioritises. During my career, I have been highly commended for my work and dedication to people with a learning disability and autistic individuals, in 2019 I was invited to speak in the House of Parliament by Baroness Hollins to celebrate 100 years of learning disability nursing.   

Through my diverse career, I have also worked as a Head of Care in a luxury care home setting, working as the registered manager with CQC serving a community of older people with complex physical and mental health needs including those living with dementia.

I have completed a BSc in Health Science in Nursing and a DipHE in Learning Disability Nurse. Since qualifying as a learning disability nurse, I have undertaken diagnostic training in the ACIA, ADI-R and ADOS tools and enhanced training in assessment of mental health needs in people with a learning disability and autistic people.

I am also a mother of three children, two have a diagnosis of autism, ADHD, anxiety and dyslexia and I have lived experience of navigating complex systems. I currently use my lived experienced to support others, and am passionate about developing clear career pathways for personal assistants, due to my own experience of trying to find a personal assistant with the skills and expertise to support my family.

Claire Powell and I am the CBO at We Offer Training

In a world where e-learning has become a cornerstone of professional growth, I am passionate about combining the richness of lived experiences with the finesse of branding expertise. As the Chief Branding Officer at “We Offer Training,” my role is to orchestrate a harmonious blend of real-life wisdom and experience, delivering top-tier e-learning solutions for health professionals and parent carers.

My journey to this current role is a testament to the power of my personal lived experiences. With a genuine heart for people and a desire to make a difference, my life has been intricately woven with significant moments that fuel my passion for e-learning and training.

Beyond the boardroom and business plans, I aim to bring a unique empathetic perspective to my role. Having personally supported my father through the challenges of dementia and end-of-life care, I understand the delicate nuances of caregiving and the essential role that healthcare professionals play in these situations. My empathy isn’t just learned from textbooks; it’s drawn from my own journey, allowing me to guide the creation of e-learning content that resonates on a deeper level.

I am Mum to two children, one of whom is on the autism spectrum with various co-occurring needs and strengths, I am intimately familiar with the daily triumphs and challenges that parents and caregivers face. My own experiences have equipped me with an innate understanding of the unique requirements of parent careers, enriching the e-learning offerings with a level of sensitivity that can only come from firsthand knowledge.

As the Chief Branding Officer of “We Offer Training,” my multidimensional background merges seamlessly with the platform’s vision. Positive leadership ensures that the training solutions offered are not mere courses but gateways to meaningful transformation. Through my personal journey as a caregiver and a mother, I endeavour to breathe life into the training materials, turning them into instruments of empowerment, education, and enlightenment.
